Love Signs
Brief / Love Signs
-
To enhance outreach efforts of Eve Ensler’s V-Day and 1 Billion Women Rising campaign, raising awareness about resources for domestic violence and empowering vulnerable populations.

Despite digital outreach efforts, V-Day struggles to engage beyond its digital community. The annual Valentine's Day march aims to familiarize vulnerable populations with available help for domestic violence.
-
Co-opt the politically and economically neutral language of street signs to notify pedestrians about available help for domestic violence. Love Signs dissolve the boundaries between public art, marketing, and social awareness, enrolling the community in the cause for women’s empowerment and safety.
-
Install Love Signs in public spaces, strategically placing them to reach vulnerable populations and raise awareness about available resources.
